Skin's Food: Lemon and Salt Hand Scrub

I love painting my nails and keeping them dainty. I do YouTube videos so teach and share my ideas to other girls who love nail arts, too. But, I still need to do some chores at home so I can't help my hands to get dry. There are hands creams and moisturizers available in the market but some of them are expensive.

So, I came up with this DIY beauty recipe.

Olive oil moisturizes the skin, lemon freshens and is especially good keeping skin fairer, and the sugar and salt exfoliates dry skin and renews the appearance of your hands.

What you'll need:

The ingredients are cheap and you can find them right in your own kitchen.

I decided to make just the right amount for 1 week of use. If you think you need more, then simply double the measurement.

  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Salt
  • 1 lemon
  • Zester/ Grater
  • A jar or a container

Here's the video to learn the step by step directions:

And you're done!

With that amount, it should be enough for a week of use.

I also read that it could also be used as a great gift. Simple put the mixture in a presentable jar then tie a ribbon around the cap.

Try it now and see what will happen to your hands.

Watch your skin transform from being dry to moisturized, soft and smooth in a couple of days.
