DIY Valentine's Day Card

Thinking of the perfect gift for your special someone this Valentine's day? The usual gifts are bouquet of flowers, box of chocolates or a huge Teddy bear. This time, why don't you personalize your gift? I'm sure he/she will appreciate it more since you spent a little more time on this gift!

I learned this pop-up card technique when I was in high-school. I don't really remember who taught me, though.

So, here's what you need:

  • 2 papers of the same size - it doesn't matter what size you use, they just need to be of the same size
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Eraser
  • a sharp cutter
  • scissors
  • glue
  • decorative materials - glitter,beads, sequence, etc.
  • crayon
  • ribbons
  • another piece of paper
  • glue gun

Here is the tutorial:

Finished! It's that easy, really!

You can write whatever word/s you want to. Like I Love You, Thank You or even MARRY ME! Oh, so sweet! I honestly wish there was someone who I could give this card to, though. Right now, it's just there in my room... #lifeofasinglewoman :)

I hope you like this DIY project. It's been a long time since I did a DIY video and I honestly missed it.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful and sweet Valentine's day!
