Here's another update on my skin and on the products that I am currently using. I first discovered about Renew Placenta when I asked my Mom to use the Renew Placenta soap. After just two weeks of using it, her skin improved a lot! Her skin became whiter and tighter and the dark spots that she had got lighter. After that, I decided to try the complete set of the Renew Placenta as well.
I'm not really a fan of Big Bang because I prefer the cutesy idol groups over the masculine groups that show swag like Big Bang. But I have to admit that the boys are really good looking and talented in music. I also always like their songs when they release new ones and always add them to my K-pop playlist. They have been on hiatus for years and now that they are back with a new song/album, I didn't want to miss the chance to create another Big Bang inspired nail art. Here are some of the inspirations I got from their outfits in the Loser video.
On our second to the last day in Singapore, we opted to go to the Lucky Plaza mall in Orchard Road first. I was looking for a camera (Casio 1500) and was hoping I could find a great deal there. My cousin who also worked in Singapore suggested I go there for more souvenir items.
But instead of finding the camera that I like and some souvenir items, I found CHOCOLATES! Lots and lots of chocolates! After that, we explored the Orchard Road to see some more tourist spots. Oh, I forgot to meantion right away that I met with a Filipina viewer that is currently in Singapore. Mae is one of the loyal viewers that I have. We have been exchanging messages for more than a year before meeting. I was so glad I was finally able to meet her in Singapore!
A lot of you have been asking me to post an update showing my skin condition and how my skin looks now after a couple more sessions of Flawless' Fractional Needing Therapy. (I posted a comprehensive review on Flawless' FNT HERE.) FNT is one of my favorite treatments to get at Flawless! It works so well and leaves a really nice effect on the skin. So, it's Summer and we all feel hot, exposed to the sun, got darker and often sweaty. Those things often lead to bad skin or acne breakout. I noticed that my skin gets really bad in Summer because of the extreme hot weather we have here in the Philippines. I have been wanting to continue with my FNT treatment at Flawless but I knew I was going to go out a lot so I waited until all the events I had to go to were over. Finally, I was able to go back to Flawless for my 4th FNT treatment! Each session of the FNT is around Php 4,500. Pretty pricey but the result is really nice and it gets better with each treatment that you get. The treatment does not take a long time to finish but it does have a down side to it. It could get a bit stingy, especially if you have low pain tolerance. You also have to allot at least 5 days for the down period of your skin. Anyway, here's me after the 4th session of Fractional Needling Theraphy. It doesn't look really bad but I was at the mall and my skin was super red so I opted to ask for a mask to cover my reddish face.
I've always wanted to go to Universal Studios so I was really excited for our Singapore trip! We wanted to avoid long lines and horde of people so went on a Monday. Going to Universal Studios from our hotel was rather very quick and easy. The attendants at our hotel said it would be easier to go by taxi rather by bus or by train. The fare came down to just $9, which was very cheap as compared to having to walk a few blocks and take a train and then transfer to another train line. I made sure I wore comfy clothes to Universal as I was sure the weather was going to be hot and sunny! Finally, a picture with this iconic globe/logo!
The ticket price was $68 for a One-Day Pass Ticket. We got a few $$ off the price because we got our USS ticket from our hotel, Victoria Hotel. I think it was around $5 discount.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers that read this blog! For people like me that aren't Mother's yet, Happy Mother's Day to our Moms! :) I believe being a Mother is one of the most tiring yet fun ad rewarding jobs, ever! There's no salary, loyalty award, no paid day-offs and certainly no overtime pays! Mother's get so tired but they never really complain. Well, they do sometimes (lol) but that's just them wanting us to help them somehow. That's why it is important to give back to them for all the love and care they give us! My Mom doesn't like extravagant gifts but I do enjoy giving her small gifts and sweet nothings from time to time. The fight of the century is FINALLY happening! We have been waiting for this for the longest time, us Filipinos! You guys don't know how excited we were when we heard the announcement that the battle is finally happening! We are also nervous, of course. But in an interview, Manny Pacquiao told the Filipinos not to worry about anything because we aren't the ones going to be in the ring and go against Mayweather but him. He told us to just sit back, pray to God and trust him that he'll get through it. But we are still nervous. Nervous and excited. To show my support to Manny Pacquiao, I decided to do a simple nail art using the signs, symbols and logos that are often associated to him.
Curling hair using a hair iron has become so famous. It's actually a nice beauty trick to know especially if you want to save some bucks! Instead of buying a separate hair iron to straighten your hair and another curling iron rod to curl your hair, you can just use 1 device to achieve both the sleek-straight and cute-curls look! I own quite a lot of hair products already. Some of them are really nice but expensive. Some of them are cheap but don't work quite well. I was so glad when I discovered a really nice flat iron! I am not saying this just for the sake of promoting the product but this hair iron is definitely my favorite. Most irons I have used are either too heavy and bulky, damage the hair or trap and hurt the hair when you iron. This hair iron is so light, so easy to use, doesn't hurt the hair when you glide it and doesn't damage the hair as much as other hair irons! How amazing!
