Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Mascara Review

I noticed that more than any other make-up product, I tend to splurge a lot on eye and lip products. I guess the reason for that is because when I had the acne breakout, I could only apply make-up on my lips and my eyes, the two areas not affected by acne.

Anyway, here's an eye product I'm loving as of the moment.
Revlon's Lash Potion by Grow Luscious in 221 Blackest Black Noir Intense

According to Revlon : Spellbinding Volume. Supernatural Length. Magically transform lashes to lush, long and lustrous. A potion with strengthening proteins drenches lashes for volume. Triple-groove wand combs through for clump-free length.

The wand is one of the factors why a mascara works well (or doesn't). The carefully put-together bristles that apply the product on your lashes strand-by-strand while making them lengthy-looking and volumized.

Here's what this mascara's wand look like:

This mascara promises to lengthen and volumize the lashes. Remember, Spellbinding Volume. Supernatural Length. Let's find out how it works!

Curled my lashes using my favorite inexpensive curler from Etude House. My lenses are from LensCircle, by the way.

Now, here's how my lashes look after applying ONE COAT of the mascara.

PRICE : around Php700

  • Legnthens lashes
  • Volumizes without looking like spider legs
  • Quick-drying
  • Doesn't smudge
  • After drying, lashes stay up and curled for a couple of hours

  • Dries too quickly. Applying the second coat could be difficult.
  • Hard to remove without the use of a good eye make-up remover

Final look at my lashes BEFORE and AFTER applying Revlon's Lash Potion Mascara.

To be honest, this is my first time trying a Revlon mascara. I'm not sure if I lived under a rock because I seriously can not remember trying any other Revlon mascara aside from this. But one thing is for sure, Revlon left a good impression on me because of this one. I like how my lashes stay curled for hours. Though it was a bit difficult to remove but using a good eye-makeup remover should solve that problem. What's important is that it won't make you look like a walking panda when you use it! Love this mascara!
